Davi the Heranian was a historian, author and philosopher from Qep, notable for the monograph "Heran Chronology" and for establishing the Parra school of philosophy. Relatively unknown in Heran as a philosopher, his philosophical thought became spread in the north-west and influenced such notable scholars as Koligaree.

Heran Chronology

Heran Chronology exists as a collection of several thousand unnumbered pages that were part of a Heranian manuscript, a type of book that would hold its pages with a rope, sown through one of the corners. The manuscript's bookcase was lost, but thankfully most pages were left intact. The original is kept in Couleds. Numerous copies exist. Copying the Heran Chronology is one of the standard scribe tasks in Mantareia.

Clearly written over decades, Heran Chronology deals with several centuries worth of history, with a deeper focus on the rule of Oordars.
