Gonne was built in the Moleeq desert, at the site of the ancient settlement of [[Gordohse]]. There was no natural water source and Gonne was fully reliant on constant traffic from [[Delavire]], [[Ernele]] and [[Or]] to supply fresh water. In the event of sand storms, Gonne would be cut off from the outside world. In some of these cases, slave traders would flee the settlement, leaving slaves to die.

Gonne saw several slave uprisings, most notable one being that led by [[Mon_Lon_Dōrs]] in the beginning of the 17th [[CSR]]. Although the uprising was quashed, the corridor was dissolved shortly thereafter, due to the political and economic changes in [[Qep]], as well as the fall of the [[Oordar clan|Oordar rule]] in Heran.
