The historical record of Toor is mostly preserved in the writings of early Tarnarian historians [[Ludoh]] and [[Porteek]], as well as through documents preserved in [[Gaskal]], [[Jegin]] and in toorian counterparts in [[Barud]], [[Gantolia]] and [[Yammoe]].
However, a wealth of information that would have been contained in documents, letters, ledgers, works of art has been lost due to a purposeful destruction of said artifacts during [[Mōroh]].

Toor was established at the end of the 18th century of the first revolution by [[Sopoh Dolysoh]] who claimed that him reaching the northernmost point of [[Tarnaria]] demonstrates that he has the vision of the path. Over the course of the next century, the Dolysoh dynasty has expanded Toor, eventually subjugating [[Laeooy Coast]] and the area which today is known as [[Commonground]], while continuing to fight for its integrity against the Negy, the [[Oaleed]] and the [[Empire of Barud|Baruds]] in the south and the tribes from [[Teamatian]] in the west.

== Governance ==
Although no toorian ruler has ever referred to Toor as an empire, it was effectively one. Multiple peoples lived under its rule, such as [[Oaleed]], Urnotys, Jojnohs, Aagalohs, [[Hadeer]].
Toor was a fairly centralized state. It was run out of first [[Gaskal]] and then [[Chusoh]] by a royal court with a gole - a king. The gole appointed a [[murdoh]] for key cities.
