'''Maksag''' is a city located on the banks of the Taverda river, founded by [[Maksag Ginsag|Maksag]], brother of [[Ginsag]] in the end of the 17th [[dantrian_calendar|CSR]].

It became one of the major cities of the [[State of Ginsag]], and was then ransacked by an invasion from [[Tref]]. It was one of the only cities to have recovered quickly.

Maksag was then a city-state for over a century, upholding the banner of Ginsag, after which it was attacked by [[Dod Overpol]]. It did withstand the attack, but later joined the [[Overpol Expanse]] voluntarily.
