**Xornerian** /zɔr'nɛriən/ was a country situated in the northern part of the central [[Continent]], to the west of [[Tarnaria]], with access to the Ge and Kost seas.

Founded by the philosopher [[Koligaree]], Xornerian was the first [[xorner_philosophy|xorner]] of the [[Eastern Dantrian civilization]].

For around a 100 years it boasted a relatively high level of economic prosperity due to its location and natural resources. With time, however, corruption and the growth of wealth inequality led to a number of riots that eventually evolved into a decade-long civil war. The country was then subject to an aggressive conquest from [[Kareden]] armies, which, coupled with betrayal from [[Yammoe]], led to the country being conquered and becoming part of the [[Kingdom of Mamkoon]].

Early on Xornerian received political and financial support from [[Puhntuss]]. Yammoean influence grew with time, to the point that some researchers regard Xornerian as a [[Yammoe]] puppet state, which it used in its fight for influence in the north against [[Darda]].
