Barud was founded by the [[Gordoh family]], who were the founders of the secessionist [[Gordohse]], a [[Asdoh]] city that was a self-proclaimed city state, but was not recognized as such by [[State of Asdoh|Asdoh's]] capital [[Estonoh]].
