The name "Ahldorae" comes from Astronaut Deb who referred to the planet as "a place full of ahldorae" in his interstellar chat app [[Peculiar Messenger]]. When asked what "ahldorae" means, he ignored the question. They were meaning to ask him next time, but unfortunately, due to large distances, the next time they were able to contact him was 90 years later and Astronaut Deb had already passed away.

The name "Ahldorae" was predominantly used by [[User:The chronicler|the Chronicler]] to refer to the planet in the earlier editions of the Continent Chronicles. The exact origin of the name is unclear and doesn't seem to match any of the names, given to the planet by its population. The name can still be spotted in some places, albeit very rarely, and would redirect to this page.

In the records onboard the space station "Arduous IV", however, they were able to find a reference to this mysterious entity, but, anticlimactically, the only reference was the same line from the Peculiar Messenger chat log. What Astronaut Deb meant by "ahldorae" remains a mystery to this day.
