It is argued that the gift of insight is what gives legendaries their strange ability to shape world events. Insight is described as an uncanny, but mostly intuitive sense of "things unseen", including a subconscious and usually very accurate sense of how things are going to develop into the future. This is sometimes interpreted as precognition, but this would be incorrect: legendaries do not know the future. They might sometimes sense its general direction, but in most cases they don't even have that. Rather, their future sight manifests itself in their actions. A legendary might not know why they prefer one option to another, they just know that this is the right course of action - and most of the time they would be correct.
