Nalarli began to experience an influx of words and grammar from bukk due to Loodon conquering the Overpol Expanse. The resulting mixed language is called Bukkni. Bukkni became the official language in eastern Loodon, specifically in the Overpol Region, while western Loodon switched to Kefan, a language closely related to Nalarli and spoken in Afanyu. Purely Nalarli dialects, however, got phased out. By the time Loodon became an empire, Nalarli had no native speakers.
