Maksag is a city located on the banks of the Taverda river, founded by Maksag, brother of Ginsag in the end of the 17th CSR.
It became one of the major cities of the State of Ginsag, and was then ransacked by an invasion from Tref. It was one of the only cities to have recovered quickly.
Maksag was then a city-state for over a century, upholding the banner of Ginsag, after which it was attacked by Dod Overpol. It did withstand the attack, but later joined the Overpol Expanse voluntarily.
