Noana Moskoh Rolee was a courtier in the court of Modosoh Dolysoh and grandmother of Noana Rolee. She was one of the daughters of Kormoh Roleek who was executed for high treason when Noana was only a child. Her family name was then changed to Roly in official documents, to both strip the family of the air of nobility, but also distance Kormoh's children from their dishonored father.

Known to her closest friends as Moskoh, Noana and her sisters continued to live in the royal palace under the tutelage of Soseeroh Mlogoh, who was a very powerful courtier, holding the rank of the Prime of the Chamber.
