Eternal Companion is the name given in Tarnaria to the brightest star in the sky. It is an integral part of the Continent's religions and cosmology. It is considered to be a personal name and should be used without the "the" preposition.
Typically signified as a 12-pointed star, Eternal Companion is a frequent occurrence on flags, designs and pictures. Its religious significance varies between religions, but is invariably considered to be the planet's Defender, as defined in the Eon of Eater. Eternal Companion is especially important in Xaewoon.
