The Kingdom of Nadd was an ancient Tarnarian kingdom on the Laeooy Coast, known for its opulence and successful resistance against larger enemies, including Asdoh and Toor.
Nadd was the sole importer of coffee, chocolate and medicinal herbs through sea trade with Ronas, providing back tin and slaves. It respected Troun's and Tyrna's relationships with Leykarya and had trade agreements with both states, ensuring Nadd's own monopoly on the trade with Ronas. Troun and Tyrna received goods from Ronas at a discount, while providing Nadd with slaves. Slave trade fueled Troun's and Nadd's conquests.
Nadd was a fierce opponent of both Asdoh and Toor and provided refuge to many nobles and generals who fled the Dolysohs for one reason or another. Nevertheless, Asdohn scholars and artists were welcome at Nadd and most buildings in the city were commissioned to Asdohn architects.
Nadd was almost conquered by Mosk-Sopoh Dolysoh, but coincidentally received a visit from a superhero warrior Mran Gantorn who provided the city with a defense barrier. Mran Gantorn was then imprisoned in the city, forced to provide defense for decades in what became known as the Long Siege.
