Jump to navigationJump to searchOuna /'juːnə/ is the largest and most arid region on the Continent. "Ouna" means "a drop" in Thonthal. The name originated in Leykarya.
The desert was known as Aando Marlar in Western Dantria, but the meaning of the name, if there was any, is unknown. Ouna is called "Jemuta" in Tarnaria, which means "a giant" in Jabi. This is sometimes incorrectly translated as an adjective, as in "the giant desert", but it is a noun and the desert is refered to as "the giant".
