Both [[Ludoh]] and [[Porteek]] agree that Oskodon's rule ultimately empowered the Oaleed, since his brazen disregard for Toor's military capability led to the Negy being pretty much eviscerated from the Dol-Negal region by 1815. This vacuum gave the Oaleed the opportunity to begin expanding aggressively to the north, and leading to the prolonged conflict with Toor.
