Noana Kaogee /'nwɑnə 'kjuːgiː/ (c. 1960s - 1987 FR) was a courtier to gole Modosoh Dolysoh, a socialite and lover of Garees Tōrmoh, mother of Gole Tōrmoh. Her brother was Lord Kaogee who secretly supported Teejody Dolysoh against Gole Modosoh during the Dolysoh Standoff.

Noana was born in the 1960s into a wealthy Kaogee family which had partial ownership in the Goskoh mine. She became gole's courtier when she was 12, initially serving as a court lady to another Noana, Noana Rolee. By her twenties she moved up the ranks and became one of personal assistants to the gole. Described as apt, quick-witted and good-looking, she became one of his favorites, and they had a brief relationship. When it ended, she remained a trusted assistant.

Noana herself, however, was more interested in women. It was rumored that she was sexually servicing Noana Rolee, her previous mistress, and that it was this relationship that had advanced her career. Nevertheless, Noana was a competent courtier herself and was frequently used as a messenger for the gole, Rolee and other noblemen and noblewomen in sensitive matters.

Somewhere in the beginning of the 80s FR she met Garees Tōrmoh. The circumstances of how they met are unknown. Noana fell in love with Garees and spent a lot of time with her, informally involving her in court business. At some point, Garees told Noana that she wants to overturn the gole's rule, an idea which Noana mentioned to Rolee. She said that she wanted Rolee to become gole. Rolee took it as a joke and a demonstration of Noana's extreme loyalty to her, but when both of gole's children died within several days of each other, Rolee broke off her relationship with Noana.

When several months later the pair learned that gole's wife Lese is pregnant, Garees poisoned her. She then suggested that Noana should resume her relationship with the gole, but the gole was depressed after the tragedy of losing his children and wife and was then seriously wounded as the result of the assassination attempt by Teejody.

Noana and Garees then spread rumors about Lord Keetoh Skaeooy Borstomoh, a wealthy nobleman in Chusoh, that he had been in love with Noana. They then poisoned him during a large celebration, an account of which was documented by Ludoh, although her sources are unknown. In Toor, just like in Asdoh, it was customary to look to the will in case the deceased has no heir. Lord Borstomoh had no children and his will left his estate to Noana.

In spite of suspicious and even potentially scandalous circumstances, since Kaogee was a wealthy family to begin with, the event did not produce much commotion. Less than a year later, however, Noana suddenly died, leaving her now exorbitant wealth to Garees.

While Ludoh seems to attribute her death to Garees, Porteek suggests that the Borstomoh family had as much of a reason to kill Noana as might have Garees. And as Garees was always in the shadows, they might have not known about her. The latter is a salient point, as even Rolee did not seem to have had any awareness of Garees in Noana's life before Garees emerged as one of the wealthiest people in Chusoh.

Noana is fictionalized in the works of Mantareian writer Kaskar Mosdei, who depicted her as the gole seducer in the series of novels "Golen ō Mel-Golen" (roughly, "Kings and Queens").
