Delavire-Gonne slave trade corridor
Delavire-Gonne slave trade corridor was a number of routes that supplied slaves from Qep and Mantar to the west of Heran, typically to Tonaran, Or and Ernele. It was established my Maksag Oordar after he conquered Mantar in 1527 SR, but was managed by Kren Oordar's Murdoh and later by Pherro Oordar.
Slave trade was a key component to the economics of the Oordar proto-empire, but also became an important element in the lives of some nomadic tribes, such as the Kippies, Lorians and Ulenians, who frequently raided Gonne and slave caravans, but also traded with the slave merchants and provided various services, including acting as hired troops to attack a competitor's caravan. This was especially true for Kippies, who were greatly affected by the demise of the corridor and eventually left the region altogether.
Gonne was built in the Moleeq desert, at the site of the ancient settlement of Gordohse. There was no natural water source and Gonne was fully reliant on constant traffic from Delavire, Ernele and Or to supply fresh water. In the event of sand storms, Gonne would be cut off from the outside world. In some of these cases, slave traders would flee the settlement, leaving slaves to die.
Gonne saw several slave uprisings, most notable one being that led by Mon_Lon_Dōrs in the beginning of the 17th CSR. Although the uprising was quashed, the corridor was dissolved shortly thereafter, due to the political and economic changes in Qep, as well as the fall of the Oordar rule in Heran.
