Toarlameek family was a noble and wealthy family who lived in Qep. Originally from Qep city, Toarlameeks were forced to flee to Lora when Maksag Oordar invaded Qep, losing all of their wealth. In Lora they became the ruling family through fabricating documents. Later expanding their rule to Qep city, Toarlameeks restored their wealth and standing, as well as influence in Qep as Gorona married Nilma Oordar and eventually became the Murdoh of Mantar.

Their rule came to an end when Nilma Oordar invaded Qep and deposed Toarlameeks from the Murdon Circle.

Pronunciation

The standard pronunciation in hureed would be /'twɑrlɑmiː/, but the actual pronunciation tended to be /'tworlɑmiː/. The latter also reflects the Toarlameek underbukk, a custom family dialect that was quite sophisticated.

In fact, Nilma Oordar took great care to go through the morotōsha ritual of learning and presenting his knowledge of the family language, and impressed the Toarlameeks so much that it is this acceptance into the family that allowed him to not only survive Kren the Younger's plot, but also continue traveling and influencing Qep's and Mantar's politics, which would have been impossible without the vast network and support of the Toarlameeks.
